Nava Kiran Plus
Nava Kiran Plus (NKP) was established by people living with HIV/AIDS in 2003. Since the inception NKP has never looked back. NKP currently covers 25 districts across the country and provides services to over 300 people on a daily basis. In a short life of 5 years NKP has made a visible difference in the quality of lives of people living with HIV and AIDS in Nepal.
Vision: A right to highest attainable standard of health is secured for everyone despite of their gender, social and economic status.
Mission: To improve the quality of lives of people living with HIV/AIDS and reinstate their rights to live with dignity.-
Goal: By 2010, Ensure that every person living with HIV and AIDS in Nepal
- has universal access to Antiretroviral Therapy.
- has access to easy and affordable treatment and care programs.
- has means to support themselves and those who depend upon them.
- is able to live in an open society without a fear of stigma and discrimination.
