The overall purpose of the Local Grant Authority (LGA) is to provide a flexible and non-bureaucratic instrument, allowing prompt and relevant response to development requirements by the Danish Embassies in eligible countries, thereby contributing to better quality of Danish development co-operation. All activities under the LGA must concur with the general objectives and principles of Danish development policy as laid down in the Danish Development Policy and the Strategy for Danish Development Policy (Partnership 2000), and other relevant policies, strategies and action plans. |

http://www.i-base.info HIV i-Base is a treatment activist group, HIV-positive led and committed to providing timely HIV treatment information both to positive people and to health care professionals. I-Base was formed in April 2000 by the former publications, editorial and meetings team from the AIDS Treatment Project. I Base have also developed close working relationships with NGOs in many different countries in Western and Eastern Europe and Africa. Copyright free i-Base material has been produced in over 20 languages. NKP has adapted several I Base materials into Nepali and Hindi language and is available in the Publication section. |

Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects (GGP) is a scheme to provide financial assistance for the implementation of social and economic development and emergency humanitarian assistance projects being undertaken by non-profit making local organizations and institutions in developing countries and regions. The GGP scheme has been able to provide flexible support for economic and social development cooperation activities that have a direct effect at the grassroots level. |
